It’s Mystery Night at The Elephant Room! Join us on Thursday, July 30th for a special mystery and detective themed “Lively Literati” featuring authors Julien Ayotte, San Kafrissen and Rick Marchetti. Following our featured authors, feel free to grab our open mic to share bits of your own poetry or prose. The fun starts at 6:30. Admission is free!

Newport’s Edward King House will be hosting a special  “Giant Book Fair and Booksigning” with 30 published Rhode Island writers on Wednesday, July 22 from 4 to 6 p.m. The event is part of Newport’s annual “Senior Week” activities and is free and open to the public.
