Susan Brescia is the author of The Year the World Stood Still, a non-fiction book that chronicles the stories of our time, one that resonates with kindness, hope, inspiration, and resilience of the human spirit.
Real-life charcoal drawings and heartfelt stories of healthcare heroes, first responders, teachers…grace the 100 pages of this hardcover coffee table book. Although Brescia spent most of her professional career as a creative director she has used multiple works of art as a form of self-expression. She considers this book a statement of thanks to those who have worked on the front lines during COVID-19.
Brescia’s lives in Lincoln, Rhode Island. She enjoys working on commissioned requests, spending time with loved ones and being in nature.
